MHRA and Department for Education Embed Medicine Safety into School Curriculum

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has partnered with the Department for Education to integrate medicine safety education into the school curriculum across England. The initiative aims to empower children and young people with knowledge about the safe use of medicines, understanding of risks, and the importance of following guidance. By embedding these lessons into everyday learning, the programme supports the government’s broader health and safety objectives and encourages responsible behaviours around medicines from an early age.
