Membership of the RQA brings many benefits but the greatest is being part of a community of 2000+ colleagues with the same interests as you.
Members of RQA are always accessible through the Members Search, online discussion forums give you access to our Committee Members and the Volunteer Programme allows you to become involved in the Association as much or little as you wish to/are able to.
We are also increasing our free content to members through regular webinars of pre-recorded, or live content.
We hope to engage all UK and international forums to offer an event in 2021 that will be free to members in their geographical region. Recordings of events will be made available to members (where presenters allow). This will require the set up of new forums in areas that haven’t had one set up yet - if you would like to be involved, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and where you are based.
We are also looking to hold multiple virtual seminars this year - events up to two days' long full of presentations, workshops, panels and networking. We have tentatively scheduled our first event for mid-April, based around how Brexit has affected the industry, and what it means for you. We have been asking members of our LinkedIn group and anyone who visits the website for their ideas about what they need to know. If you have an area you would like explored, please complete this very short form to let us know. Full details will follow in February. Have you got a topic that you think we could hold a seminar on? Email email@example.com with your suggestion.
These events are for members to come together to discuss a topic of their choosing, Our first event was facilitated by RQA Chair Tim Stiles, around the question “What do you want from RQA?”. Other events will follow throughout 2021 and we will share any recordings or summaries to all members' post event.
In 2021 we have a new collaboration with DARQA, the EU QA Symposium, running on 20th - 21st May 2021.
As usual we will be running our International QA Conference later in the year. The event will be run virtually in 2021 on 3rd - 5th November 2021.
