MHRA launches Innovation Accelerator for innovative products

Summary: The MHRA Innovation Accelerator gives innovators and developers of innovative products access to MHRA scientific expertise, regulatory guidance and an enhanced advice and signposting service. Published on 29 June 2026, the service brings together the MHRA’s Innovation Office, the Regulatory Advice Service for Regenerative Medicines, Regulatory Science and Horizon Scanning, while also supporting delivery of the Innovative Licensing and Access Pathway. The aim is to help developers navigate regulatory requirements more easily and connect with the right MHRA expertise as they develop novel healthcare products.
