Summary:
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has launched a new Adverse Event Look-up Tool designed to make it easier for the public and researchers to explore reports of adverse events associated with medical products. The online tool allows users to search and view safety reports submitted to the FDA for drugs and therapeutic biologics, helping increase transparency and accessibility of safety information. By providing a more user friendly way to access adverse event data, the FDA aims to support better understanding of product safety and enable patients, healthcare professionals and researchers to review reported events more easily. The tool forms part of wider efforts to modernise how safety data is shared and used to support pharmacovigilance and public health monitoring.
