European Pharmacopoeia Issue 13.3 published

Summary: The European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) has published Issue 13.3 of the European Pharmacopoeia, which will become applicable in 39 European countries from 1st July 2027. The issue includes new and revised texts adopted by the European Pharmacopoeia Commission, supporting the harmonisation of quality standards for medicines and pharmaceutical substances. Manufacturers, testing laboratories and quality assurance professionals should review the changes to identify any implications for analytical methods, specifications and regulatory compliance.
