VMQA Consultancy Services is solely run by Vicky Massie, a QA professional with more than 20 years’ experience of quality procedures and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in leading contract research organisations. Vicky is highly experienced in auditing GLP studies, laboratory phases of GCP studies and managing QA programmes. Experience includes the setting up of facilities across Europe including managing the integration of GLP systems following company mergers, whilst maintaining compliance with national regulatory programmes. Vicky has technical knowledge of conducting field and analytical residue studies (including operator exposure studies); bioanalytical studies and toxicology studies, with knowledge of GCP for laboratories, writing and reviewing SOP's and running both in-house and external training courses. Vicky has successfully established GLP systems in established organisations and taken a number of organisations through their preliminary MHRA inspections. Vicky has excellent organisational, written and oral presentation skills and practical experience of managing diverse teams. Vicky is a member of the Research Quality Association and has been a member of the GLP Committee since 2006 and past chair of the Field Studies Committee; this includes being involved in the organisation of training and seminar days, presenting on professional development courses and at regional meetings, and chairing sessions at the RQA annual conference.
