Do I need to print anything?
No. Your badge will be ready to collect at the registration desk. The RQA app always has the latest programme information.
How do I access the conference section of the app?
Download the RQA app from the App Store or Google Play - delegates will have access to the conference event and will be alerted.
Why should I complete my schedule in the app before the event?
We use delegates' planned schedules to allocate rooms based on likely attendance. Completing yours helps us put popular sessions in bigger rooms. It does not reserve you a seat, as all sessions are first come, first served.
How do I get into a workshop?
Workshops have limited places and the limit differs for each one. The app shows the maximum number for every workshop. Places are taken on arrival, so get there early.
When are the round tables?
Wednesday afternoon only, in the last session of the day. They are not repeated.
What should I wear?
Suggested dress is smart casual, with layers to account for fluctuations in temperature across the venue.
What time does registration open?
3pm on Tuesday 3rd
8am each morning after.
A member of the RQA team will be on the desk throughout the conference.
Is the dinner dance included in my delegate fee?
If you've booked a full delegate including dinner dance, yes, for all other registration types it is a separately ticketed event on Thursday 5th November. If you have booked it, your place is confirmed. If you have not, email conferences@therqa.com to add it. Places are limited.
What time does the dinner dance start?
Pre-dinner drinks at 7pm in the Chablis Suite, dinner from 7:30pm, and the band from 9pm with three sets running to midnight.
What should I wear to the dinner dance?
Anything from full 60s or 70s retro to classic evening wear. There is no strict dress code, so wear what you feel good in and bring your dancing shoes.
What about the other evenings?
On Tuesday 3rd November delegates gather informally in the hotel bar from 5pm. This is not an RQA event and is not included in your fee.
On Wednesday 4th November there is a drinks reception with exhibitors, which is included and needs no booking.
Thursday is the dinner dance.
Friday closes at 3pm.
Is lunch provided?
Yes. Lunch and refreshments are included on all three days and served in the exhibition area. There are also scheduled breaks with hot drinks and snacks.
I have dietary requirements. Who do I tell?
They are taken from your RQA account, so please check yours are up to date by Wednesday 28th October. Please also mention them to staff when you are served.
Is there parking at the hotel?
Yes, but spaces are limited and chargable. We recommend the Tube where possible. Hammersmith station is a three-minute walk.
Where do I stay?
Discounted rates at Novotel London West and nearby hotels are available through our accommodation partner on the Travel and Accommodation page. Hotel check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 12 noon.
Is there somewhere to leave my luggage on the last day?
Yes, the hotel has a cloakroom near reception. Please ask hotel staff on arrival.
Is there a quiet room?
Yes, during conference hours each day. Please keep it free of conversations and calls.
Will there be Wi-Fi?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the venue. Network details will be in the app.
Will sessions be recorded?
No. Speaker slides will be added to the app after the conference, once we have received them and agreed their release with each speaker.
Can I get a certificate of attendance?
Yes. Certificates are sent to all delegates after the conference. This year we are offering CPD points, so there may be a delay in receiving certificates to accommodate approval from the CPD Accreditation body.
Who do I contact on the day?
A member of the RQA team will be on the information desk throughout the conference.
Before the event, email conferences@therqa.com.
