The 5th Global QA Conference took place at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) on the 1-3 November 2017.
At this time of great societal and cultural uncertainties along with the challenges we face with increasing technology, complexity and competition it is of greater importance for us to truly embrace globalisation and worktogether as ‘One World’. We need to fully understand the needs of our various stakeholders and form stronger partnerships with those we work with. Also we require greater adaptability to address the enormous number of regulatory changes to be implemented within our companies/areas of expertise. As we work in our various quality groups this means increasing flexibility to support all our stakeholders, to help maintain relationships and encourage transparency, along with promoting the quality culture of our organisations as well as our continued role to ensure compliance. This global conference provides an opportunity to share best practices, to consider different quality tools as well as hearing from regulators and other key opinion leaders on their views on challenging global quality boundaries. The full conference programme was both stimulating and informative and carried the theme – One World – Challenging the Global Boundaries and delegates, who were drawn from around the world, experienced a programme of topical presentations, interactive sessions, workshops and QA Clinics organised by a Programme Committee of well-respected industry experts.
