Booking the conference
How do I book?
We only accept bookings online, so please visit the booking page to secure your conference place. If you experience any issues please either use the webchat facility on our website or email email@example.com.
Do advertised fees contain VAT?
No, all prices quoted are exclusive of VAT, which is payable where applicable.
Do I need to choose all my sessions now?
Yes, we need you to make session choices so that we can allocate the rooms accordingly. However, if you do change your mind at a later date, please email firstname.lastname@example.org at least 2 weeks before the conference and we can amend your booking.
Registration and arrival
Can I get to the Convention Centre Dublin (CCD) by public transport?
Yes, we have put together a travel page with details on how to get to the CCD which you should find useful.
Where can I stay?
Along with Successful Events, we have arranged preferential rates at the main conference hotel and others in Dublin. Please visit the accommodation page for more information and to book.
What are the registration times?
Tuesday 5th November: 1500hrs – 1800hrs
Wednesday 6th November: from 0800hrs onwards
Thursday 7th November: from 0800hrs onwards
Friday 8th November: from 0830hrs onwards
Will there be cloakroom facilities to leave my coat/bag etc.?
Yes, the CCD has two cloakrooms located on the ground floor with capacity for 1,500 coats and 200 bags or suitcases.
Will coffee be available on arrival?
Yes, tea and coffee will be available in the Exhibitor Area (The Forum) from 8am on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
During the conference
Will the app work on my phone?
Yes, the app will work on all smart phones, tablets and is available through any internet browser. The app will give real time access to presentations, as well as enabling all participants to ask questions and answer polls set by the presenters.
Will the venue be able to cater for my dietary needs, e.g. vegan?
Please add any dietary requirements to your online booking and we will ensure these are accommodated. If you have already booked and haven’t given these details, please email email@example.com with your requirements.
Will there be opportunities to network?
Yes, the conference will be a great opportunity for networking with like-minded colleagues – from breaks and interactive sessions, to QA clinics and drinks receptions, there will be ample opportunity to catch up with previous acquaintances and make new ones.
What is the dress code for both conference and for dinner dance?
We suggest a dress code of smart-casual for the conference. The dinner dance dress code is black tie/ballgowns, with a Gaelic twist if desired.
What time is the exhibitor area open?
Wednesday 6th November 2019: 08.00hrs – 17.00hrs. The Meet the Delegates drinks reception will also be held in the exhibitor area from 17.30hrs.
Thursday 7th November 2019: 08.00hrs – 17.00hrs
Friday 8th November 2019: 08.00hrs – 11.00hrs
After the conference
Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
Yes, it will be emailed after the conference has ended.
Will the conference sessions be recorded and shared with RQA Members after the event?
Where possible, conference sessions will be recorded (video and/or audio) and shared with conference attendees a few weeks after the conference. Members will also have access in due course.
